The Visual Arts take over Frisco Square this summer!
June 13, 2007
For information contact: Diana Moya, President@VAGF.org, vagf.org
Join us every Friday at 6:00 pm when VAGF sponsors recent works displayed in a show that's
free and open to the general public. Works will be displayed at Frisco Square, 8801 Coleman Boulevard in
Frisco. Stop by this summer and enjoy the artwork in murals,
paintings and crafts displayed throughout. Also, every Friday at 9:00 pm, enjoy a free
family outdoor movie in Frisco Square.
Organized by the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco and sponsored by Frisco Square LP, children
from FISD schools attend the first Arts and Science Summer Camp 2007 in the City of Frisco.
Youngsters learn about recycling and water conservation through the visual arts developing
works of arts and crafts with used and found objects and materials. City experts from Environmental
Services and Water Wise departments talk to children about city programs. Children between
the ages of 5 and 12 years old learn about our environment and ways to save the planet through
reuse and recycle, and about water conservation as the best tool to for reducing drought
restrictions now in place in the city, thus bringing this important message home.
Additional contributions by the City of Frisco and the Frisco Association for the Arts.
