Art Walk this weekend in Historic Downtown Frisco

If you were looking for that healthy activity to share with your family, walking up and down Main Street celebrating the Arts, learning about Frisco's Heritage and having some plain fun, come to the Art Walk in Historic Downtown, Saturday, February 24th from 11:00 am and 4:00 pm. This event created to provide an atmosphere that promotes the Arts in education and cultural exchange is FREE and open to the public.

The Visual Arts Guild of Frisco (VAGF) in cooperation with the FISD PTA Reflections and the Frisco Downtown Merchants Association will celebrate the artist in your family and everybody is invited!

Over 100 paintings and photographs by our children will be displayed in stores, offices, restaurants and banks. All students are invited to participate in the hunt for clues towards winning the Grand Prize, an ice cream party for their class. The starting place will be the Downtown Gazebo located at Main and 4th Street in Historic Downtown. Maps and instructions will be available at the Gazebo from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm as you arrive. Clues are due at the Gazebo by 3:00 pm according to the instructions you will receive that day.

At 4:00 pm VAGF will host an Artist Reception at Frisco Square, when all participating student artists will be recognized. Prizes will be given to .The Best 10 Works of Art. and the Grand Price will be awarded to the winning class. Be there! Music, refreshments and face painting will be available.
