Collin County Ballet Theatre announces Nutcracker Auditions
Collin County Ballet Theatre, under the direction of Kirt & Linda Hathaway, welcomes all dancers interested in participating in our Nutcracker to attend the open audition September 29 from 2:30 to 6:30pm at Grace Community Church located at 4501 Hedgecoxe Road in Plano. Dancers ages 6 to 8 should audition 2:30 to 3:30, ages 9-12 from 3:30 to 4:30 and for ages 13 and up from 5:30 to 6:30. The fee is ten dollars and checks should be written to Collin County Ballet Theatre. Our performance with the Plano Symphony Orchestra will occur December 2nd at 5:00pm at the Eisemann Center in Richardson . Additional performances will occur in Frisco at Wakeland High School on December 22nd at 2:30 and 7:30. The requisite Cast Parents Meeting will occur October 14 at Davis Library in Plano from 2:00 to 4:30. Additionally our Sugar Plum Fairy Teas will occur on November 25th and December 9th from 2-4 pm at the Westin Stonebriar Resort in Frisco. Make tea reservations online at CCBallet.com. Price: $30. Hathaway Academy of Ballet, the official academy of Collin County Ballet Theatre, will have a parent viewing of its new facility on the NorthEast corner of Independence and McDermott Drive, Sunday September 30 from 2:00 to 5:00.
