Join the Frisco Community Band, Jazz Band and small ensembles as we help celebrate the holiday season with festive music! The Holiday Concert is a Frisco Community Band tradition celebrating the arrival of winter and the holidays, and the return of many of our favorite holiday music pieces. The Frisco Community and Jazz Bands will be sharing in this celebration by performing many holiday music selections from 7:00 pm to approximately 9:00 pm on Tuesday, December 12th.

Karen Strauss, Vice President of Public Relations for the Frisco Community Band, says the band is looking forward to performing holiday music. "It's fun to play familiar favorites and get into the season with the audience. We're sure to have a great turnout!"

Fliers will be put up around town and additional information will be available on the band's website. Many other small ensemble pieces will be performed in the month of December, so keep checking the website for information as the season progresses.

The Frisco Community Band was formed in Spring 2004 as a non-profit, all volunteer organization benefiting the City of Frisco and its neighboring communities. The band provides local musicians with the opportunity to expand or continue their experience in the performing arts with the ultimate purpose of making live, symphonic and ensemble music accessible to all segments of the community.

The Frisco Community Band is funded by grants from the Frisco Association of the Arts and Target, also by donations and member dues. All area musicians with at least high school experience are welcome and there are no auditions for the Concert Band. Performances are free to the public.
